DMT diamond sharpening stones

I have found that the 1200 grit diamond stone is an excellent stone for sharpening rougher tools. I then move to the 8000 grit diamond stone for the final sharpening. The 8000 grit has proven to be aggressive enough to put a final edge on the tool, while at the same time creates a mirror finish.
