About the teacher

Angela M. Walker has been a woodcarver for 18 years, and is a
long-standing member of the
Charleston
area Woodcarving Carvers Guild. She carves decorative work, sculptures,
and anything you can think of shaped out of wood. She is the owner of
Aristocrat Antiques Cane Restoration in
Charleston
SC.
She also specializes in all types of cane, rattan, rush and fabric
restoration weaving. Angela holds degrees in archeology, fine arts, and
fashion design, from Stephens College, MO., and post-graduate work from
Parsons in
New York City. You can

We will go over:

- knife sharpening
- working with the wood grain
- how to carve all the details of a Santa
