"David's knowledge
and instructing skills were inspirational.
This class would be a bargain at twice the price"
D. Hamilton
"David is a
remarkable talent and has opened up a world
of furniture I never realized was available to me. He is the
best of the best in his field. He not only showed us
how to produce the many varieties of inlay, but we made
sand shaded fans and eagle inlays as well."
"David is a
consummate teacher. He uses practical methods,
makes many of his own tools, and could publish the greatest
book ever written on finishing techniques and repairs."
J. Ogilvie
"Not only did
David do a great job of teaching string and fan
inlays and marquetry, he also provided a lot of historical
background
on restoration techniques and period piece characteristics.
"I didn't know
that is was possible to saw a 1/32 inch strip on a
band saw, but I found out in the class and I actually did it!"
