Are there any lessons for sharpening tools? I have a small set of chip carving tools ( flex cut) and one of the tools I am unable to sharpen. I am using DMT abrasive plates up to 8000 and no matter what I do, I am unable to get an edge.

Hi Robert,
I do have a lesson on sharpening, but only curved gouges and v-chisels. Since I don’t use carving knives, I don’t really teach that. I am sure you can find youtube videos on sharpening knives. Check out https://mychipcarving.com/ and I’m sure he has lessons on sharpening.
