Forest man

This is a relief carving that I did using a beetle kill pine slab...  in the pic its not quite finished . … I don't know where the finished oicture went and the piece already sold.   Pine is hard to carve in, for me, because the grain and hardness vary so much

Really nice. Makes me rethink some practices. I cut down 4 bradford pear trees after bantering with the electric com company and gave the trunks to my neighbor for firewood. I should have left the trucks standing and someday carve them.

I love the work you did. Very nice.
