As an aging wannabe artist, I can see from this article that I have 18 years to prepare for something as grand as what the Czech grandma does. 🙂

What a lovely story! Thank you! In my Carving the Acanthus Leaf book, I have a story about my 96 year old apprentice "Uncle Bill" who started carving when he was 89. Such inspirational people. You're never too old to create and to make a difference!
