scotch trivet evolution

I don't want you guys to think I'm a big boozer, but I've evolved the design of the scotch trivet I posted on the gallery before the forum.  Somehow, the idea of making the trivet in the shape of a castle turret came into my head.  Carving the stonework texture was kind of fun.  Donating this one to the Celtic Arts Foundation for a fundraiser.

Bill,

What an excellent design. Goes well with the bottle behind it! Nothing better than celebrating a great finished project with that setup...

Thanks Matthew,  Your acanthus swirls are exquisite.  - Bill

Thank you very much Bill...

Bill, very nice design. That thistle design would be a good lesson.
