This Basic Carving Kit has items needed for the Carving Floral Designs Course.
NOTE: This kit does not include carving tools. A specific set of tools for this course is available from Chipping Away.
- Arkansas Stone Sharpening Kit – Soft Arkansas & Hard Black Arkansas in wood box (5″ x 1-5/8″ x 1/2″)
- 4 oz. honing oil
- Black Arkansas Slip Stone (2″ x 7/8″ x 1/4″)
- 1 piece leather with honing compound applied
- 4 pieces carbon paper
- 48 inches of 2 inch wide dougle-sided golf-grip tape
- One piece of basswood for each lesson
- 4 pieces – 6” wide x 6” long x 1” thick (Donut Lesson, Basic Flower Lesson, Camellia Lesson & Dame Judy Dench Lesson))
- 1 piece – 6” wide x 7″ long x 1″ thick (Calla Lily in Deep Relief Lesson and the Daffodil Lesson can be cut out of this one piece)
- 1 piece – 8-1/2” wide x 7” long x 1” thick (Butterfly on a Flower Lesson)
- 1 piece – 6″ wide x 12″ long x 1″ thick (Calla Lilies in Low Relief Lesson)
