Wow, you always make it look so easy. Thanks for this lesson. Your #1, 10mm appears to be beveled on each face. Does that shape help in carving these curvy type letters versus a single bevel ?

Thanks! I'm glad you are enjoying the lesson. Actually the #1, 10mm I used is beveled on one side only. I prefer this as I can use it as 2 different chisels in different ways.

I prefer the 60 degree angle - no matter what size v-tool. A larger angle than that gets a little awkward to use and smaller angle is very difficult to sharpen.
