Just a quick note, as it has been a long day. I got up at 5:30 this morning, packed up the car for teaching a class, and at 7:30 drove to Greenville, SC – 3-1/2 hour drive. I taught a beginning carving class to 12 students this afternoon at the Woodcraft Supply Store. Tomorrow morning we will be completing the class, and then I will be heading home again – a whirlwind of a trip. I will put photos in my blog after the class is finished. We are carving a floral relief of a pansy design (actually I thought it was an orchid, but the final consensus in class was that it was closer to a pansy than an orchid). I am a woodcarver, not a botanist. I am tired – good night.
