Instructions on how to get your own image ("avatar") next to your name.

Here is a simple tutorial on how to get your own image ("avatar") next to your name when you make a post.
This is handled by a service called Gravatar. It is part of the wordpress.com world.
All you need to do is go to their website (https://en.gravatar.com) and signup for an account. You can either create your own profile on that site or log in using your wordpress.com account if you have one.
After you log in you will see an option in the top menu called "My Gravatars" and then simply follow the 2-step process to upload your own image. That's it.
IMPORTANT: The email address you use on this site MUST be the same one you use when creating your account on gravatar.com. That is the way the two systems talk to each other and recognizes you when you log into our website.
Once you have done the above, the next time you log into our website, you should see your image next to your name.
