Picture Frame in Progress

Since some have said, not only here but other places on the web; that there is very little written about carving picture frames thought I'd share my latest one. It's inspired from an Art Deco frame I saw at a local gallery and after getting permission took a few pictures. Another dilemma is knowing when to stop and accept what's done is good! Too easy to keep carving away and get way too deep. Anyway, here's a picture of the corner sample and the rest of the frame in progress. The finish will be Japan Black over traditional red clay.
