Hi Mary
The first one interesting, the second time I carved it show big time improvement, very satisfied with the second. One was done on maple, second was done on basswood. Can’t wait to start something else. Thank you so much for these lessons. I’m hooked.
Dave
Glad to hear it Dave! (Hooked another one!) Happy Carving!
Mary,
Thank you so much for these lessons. I love my flower. Even if it’s not the best. I’m hooked. I have to say that I wish I had the right tools. Also wish I had got mine from the store that had the right size ones. Much better price. Lol. Live and learn. So next time I will get them from there. Even if it takes a week to get them. I’m in AZ. There are no teachers and only one store a half hour a way from me. So thank you very much for having this school.
Sincerely Kelly
Hi Kelly,
Welcome to the school and the world of woodcarving! I always hope that my school will reach those who don’t have access to teachers in their area. Your flower (now on the student gallery) looks great! Be proud!
Mary where can I get the template to trace?
When you go to watch the full lesson, look under the video. There is a link to the template.
Thanks Mary, I enjoyed the project and look forward to completing the next. From Middle Earth NZ.
