This is a brief introduction to "Carving a Timber Frame Capital."

This 3 episode lesson shows how to carve a broad, capital for a timber frame building. While the design is relatively simple, southern yellow pine presents some unique challenges to any woodcarver. The selection of wood was far from ideal, as you will see, but half way through a set of four, I decided it was important to share the process with you.
